Welcome to The Artificer's Archive, home of wearable art for you and your home by Jama Watts. I'm originally from Kentucky (western, northern and central), but moved to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia in 2020. I'm an award-winner jewelry-maker and mixed media artist
Everything in my shop is handmade by me. I'm primarily a beadweaver, but I also work with glass, resin, 3D printed items, laser cut items, wood, silver clay, yarn, fabric and more. The bulk of my work can be found on my website, http://www.artificersarchive.com, where I offer shipping discounts and run sales. Follow me on my social media accounts or sign up for my newsletter on my website to know when I run specials!
My work has been featured in Bead&Button Magazine, in ads & catalogs by Fire Mountain Gems, Step by Step Beads and in catalogs by Rings & Things. I was also featured on HGTV's "That's Clever!"

5 out of 5 starsThis is a really well written, clear pattern with photos that help you master this stitch. This is the first pattern for this stitch that made sense to me and I've tried others! Thank you for a great pattern, I'm halfway through the shawl and loving it!!!

5 out of 5 starsI was a little confused at first with how to make the second half of the scale in the rows with multiple, but I figured it out and it has been super easy and smooth sailing to do the rest. It's definitely not complete yet, but thats just because I don't have the other colors on hand at the moment.

5 out of 5 starsi've jumped into this pattern with a skill level i would describe as "ambitious beginner" and this is a pattern i'm definitely having to take my time with and work carefully because i've never made anything like it before, but it's working up BEAUTIFULLY. it's been an excellent teaching tool for me to pick up new crochet skills, i'm very happy i bought it :) the step-by-step pictures included are a godsend, and personally i find them more useful than videos in this case because i don't have to pause at the right moment to see where my hook should be
