Written by me, this pattern is for my dragon scale shawl. I really think this pattern works best with lighter weight yarns with slow changes to color, but you can create this however you'd like!

Blue shawl in images uses sport weight yarn and an E-4 (3.5 mm) hook. Pattern can be made with other weight yarns, but size will vary. For this pattern, I used Hobbit Dahlia yarn, using almost an entire cake (875 yards).
